Either Or
Hello. Yesterday I posted a Food For Thought on kitchen seating choices and today I am talking about a choice of another kind. Would you pick either an ottoman as your coffee table or a traditional coffee table for in front of your sofa? Either Or is like a game, the best kind because there are no wrong answers. Your choice is a matter of taste. Pick what you like and what works for you - that is the true name of the game.
I have put together eight Either Or options for you to choose between and in the process perhaps help you determine how you feel about ottoman coffee tables and traditional coffee tables in general, all at the same time.
In a colorful sitting room, would you choose either an orange ottoman.....

....or a butler coffee table, which may be the most traditional type of coffee table there is! We had one growing up that passed down to me. Do you or did you have one?

This is the end of the Either Or game for today. I prefer large ottomans over coffee tables for a room with a more causal feel and particularly one that gets a lot of use. Ottomans allow you to add another fabric to the room and then you can stack the ottoman with books, trays, snack bowls and still have room to put your feet up (or even rest your bum). For a more formal space, I prefer some type of traditional coffee table. I would love to know your choice, please comment below and let me know.
I will be back with a Wallpaper Love post tomorrow to end the week. See you there.
Thank you for stopping by today, Kerry
