Vignettes of the Month
Hello! May is drawing to a close which means it's time for Vignettes of the Month. I have a few vignettes that made my heart sing throughout the month to share with you today.
Vignettes are an integral part of design. They create a place for you eye to land that is inviting and informative about the space you are in. Generally speaking, vignettes are restrained in terms of the objects used and make such a statement because of the few, special things that are showcased in them. A gorgeous piece of artwork, an attractive lamp, and a few accessories are really all you need to build a beauty.
This entryway vignette checks all of the boxes and it has a skirted table. I did a post about skirted tables recently and this one sure is a beauty, as is the vignette atop of it.

The pretty vignette in this living room has all of the go to elements for a vignette: original artwork, lamp, books, one piece of ceramic/some type of decorative accessory and a handsome chest as the foundation. The cherry on top is the brass picture light. This definitely is a pretty place for your eye to land.

The last vignette of the month also has a set of key ingredients to make a stunning vignette: an antique table (this one is gorgeous), sculpture, books, and pottery. The chair is a welcome addition and the view takes it over the top - giving your eye another beautiful place to land after you have absorbed the beauty in the vignette.

Out of the three, which is your favorite? For me, it is a race that is almost too close to call with the last vignette ahead by a nose (save the best for last, right?). I would love to know your thoughts.
I will be back tomorrow with a Furniture Fever post. See you then.
Thank you for joining me today,
Kerry
