Vignettes Of The Month
Vignettes are a keystone in design. A great vignette can enhance a room or stand on its own, particularly in an entry or hallway. Vignettes are "a moment" in a home that grab your attention. These are the vignettes that have stopped me in my tracks this month.
I love the mix of the rustic table with the lamp that matches the blue paint color on the bottom and the white paint on top with its white shade. The simple table top decor, copper bucket under the table and chair bring it altogether.

This entryway vignette is fantastic. The entire space is actually. The large table with the tall, matching lamps, center sculptures and matching hurricane candle holders is lovely.

This is a library vignette, I love all things library! The symmetry of the lamps and topiaries divided by the blue and white jar in the middle, the stacks of books, and the chest under the table all equal vignette perfection.

This table makes quite the vignette! I have mentioned before how, as a general rule, I find it is pleasing to the eye to have height on the left when designing. This table has heft and height on the left. Notice how the base of the table is longer on the left of the opening on the bottom than it is on the right. Top that with the lamp on the left side, four stacks of books, a couple of decorative elements, and statement artwork and there you have it - another great vignette recipe.

The simplicity of this vignette is stunning. And the flower arrangement on the right proves that my general "height on the left" rule just mentioned above is made to be broken, especially when it looks this great!

Thank you for reading today. I will be back tomorrow with a Furniture Fever post.
Until then,
