Spot On Tuesday

Hello! I hope you have been having a great first month of 2023! It is hard to believe we are in the last week of January already. I have spotted a few design/decorating choices lately that I want to share with you over the next few weeks. The first is a Spot On the mouldings and woodwork in wallpapered rooms being painted specifically to match a color in the wallpaper.

It used to be common to see the trim in rooms with wallpaper being painted a "safe" color like white so as not to take any of the wallpaper's thunder. Now, I have been spotting the woodwork being painted as an extension of the wallpaper, a winning supporting actor, if you will, leading to the nomination of the entire room for an award :-).
