Spot On Tuesday
This Tuesday I have my spot (light) on reeded front cabinetry, furniture, and millwork. Reeded fronts can be the facing on the entire piece/element or used as panels.
Below are some examples of what I am talking about.
Almost the entire vanity covered with a wide reeded detail.....
This entire dresser is reeded.....
Thin reeded panels in this cool curved vanity.....
Reeded finish as detailing on the millwork for these built in benches.....

You no doubt will start to notice reeded details in all sorts of places, particularly furniture like dressers, armoires, desks, shelving, you name it. There are a lot of attractive uses of reeded fronts being explored lately. I would love to have a reeded front dresser myself. What about you?
