Spot On Tuesday
Hello! How is your February so far? I hope it has been, and continues to be wonderful.
Today I have my Spot On a decorative choice that I have loved for years that seems to be making a comeback....and that is patterned fabric lampshades. This look has never gone out of favor in English decorating and I began my love of the look when I studied abroad in London years ago (ahem, in the late 1980s lol).
I particularly like the look on blue and white lamps, like these:

I think the look can work with many types of lamps though and the fabric possibilities are endless. Here is a more modern take on the look:
Do you like the look of patterned fabric lampshades? I have a ton of blue and white lamps with simple black or white shades throughout my house. I think I need to experiment with this look that I have loved for so long in my own home! Will you try it too?
