Spot On Tuesday

,I am a fan of this "spot": low tables behind the sofa. They are a great way to add visual interest to a room where the sofa back faces you when you walk into the room, as well as for a sightline from one room to the next where you see right down the line of the sofa. Take a look and see if you agree!

Even with minimal styling this rustic table makes a statement.

Anywhere you can stack books and have candles is a win with me!

This low table/bench is attractive behind the sofa and can also offer extra seating close to the kitchen island.

The tables do not have to be rustic and they do not have to be sparse. This loaded table is beautiful.

This is the most modern of the bunch and its curved lines look quite attractive behind the straight lined sofa.

What do you think? Are you a fan? I think long, low trunks work really well for this too.

Have a great day!
